Paper Bag Puppet of Behavior Bear

Behavior Bear is one of the nine characters at our nonprofit organization, Characters of Character. Our mission is to provide a firm foundation for children to establish strong civic values. We are making a difference one child at a time as we have muddled through the Pandemic just like everyone else. All our in person classes were cancelled, so, stepping way out of my comfort zone, I started to make videos to help keep these important messages out there for our children to engage in and get involved with our character lessons and activities. Below, Ms. Joni makes a paper bag puppet of Behavior Bear, follow along and be sure to reinforce this vital trait right in your own home! Here is the pattern to print out and make a paper bag puppet of your own!

Behavior Bear would love if you made a paper bag puppet with Ms. Joni! Do you have good behavior when you’re at home, school and play. Then Behavior Bear would like you to know that your good behavior will follow you wherever you go! This is a video from our friends at Pediatric Interactions who loves Behavior Bear, too!

This link is for our Behavior Bear Resource Book filled with templates, activities, lessons and printouts to do with your children. This is a link for our Behavior Poster and Bulletin Board Book to do with your family, make your window or door way a visual reminder with the engaging templates. This is our social story, Let’s Behave starring Behavior Bear. We hope our character Behavior Bear helps to reinforce and teach good behaviors right at home and that this trait is followed through at school and in your community. Behavior Bear would be so proud of your children! These Characters of Character earned a National Promising Practice Award in 2005, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization was formed in 2007 and they have not stopped reaching out to children since.

You can contact us to bring us in and do some fun painting activities while learning about each trait and what the character represents! We love meeting new people and places! Short video.

TELL me and I forget, TEACH me and I learn, INVOLVE me and I remember. Benjamin Franklin one of my favorite quotes as it says it all.
