Teaching I AM Affirmations

As an adult, we embrace who we are and are aware of our need to grow. Teaching our children positive affirmations with Self-Esteem Elephant is so fun, simple and engaging!

Use each page as you wish, here are a few ideas from Self-Esteem Elephant:

  • simply color them

  • use as a journal cover

  • use as a story starter

  • color, paint or chalk the pages

  • frame them as visual reminders

  • introduce the word to your word wall

There is so much growth in each affirmation and will provide a better mindset for oneself. Teaching our children to like who they are is important. Teaching our children that they are capable to try most anything to encourage and build their confidence is also important. You’ve probably seen video of young children saying affirmations, they are on the right path to being confident and tackling life with a good mindset. You see, we all will fail at sometime or another in our lives, it’s when you get back up that you learn more and more about just who you are. Many will have successful moments, too! You see, it’s how you react to success that will build your esteem and confidence. In our story Let’s Be Proud, Self-Esteem Elephant says not to boast about your accomplishments. Let’s embrace them and build upon them instead. Lets share them with others and be encouraging to keep on growing, learning and giving ourselves the opportunity to like just who we are.
