Building A Positive Mindset

In a world where we are embracing who we are and positive affirmations, I love this tee shirt Jen designed! I think that if you were to give your child a journal ( Characters of Character Composition Notebook would be good) and ask them to write down a word every day, either in the morning to start their day or in the evening as they reflect on the day. Either time puts a positive mindset in motion!

A few years ago I attended an event called Turning Point and we were to write in our journal, I Am.........and can I tell you that once you got going your pages filled quickly! You were not allowed to write down negativity which helped to build a positive mindset, lifted your spirits and really got you thinking. Plus, who needs negative words, thoughts or surroundings anyways! Let’s keep moving forward and learn, grow and open up discussions with others, especially our children.

Try this with your own family or children, group. classroom or organization to jump start the process of a positive, growth mindset. I Am CONFIDENT that you will grow and learn and reflect and enjoy this activity! Miss Joni and Team Characters of Character
