10th Mindful Monday Word-Limitless

“The Sky Is the Limit”

Limitless, infinite, never ending are a few referenceces that come to mind when you read or hear another person say, “The sky is the limit”. I’ve always enjoyed this reference as it represents just that, limitless. Our thoughts are limitless, they’re never ending at times. Our imagination is limitless when we’re aware that it’s there, and we use it to it’s full potential. Learning is limitless, whoever said, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” was partially wrong, you can teach an old dog new tricks. At least that’s how I feel, I never want to stop learning, therefore, my growth shall be limitless. Our ease or quickness to understand new things may slow down, but, none the less, one can still learn.

Just as learning is limitless, so are the ways a child learns. These past few years have proven how resilient we all are. I’m a firm believer that our children should be learning vital core values at home, that they should be experiencing these traits in society and have a firm foundation as to what they are so that when they are confronted with them, they will have a deeper understanding of what they are. As an adult, we all know that when we have confidence in ourselves, we’re most likely to land that next promotion, give the best presentation, or build the best team of players. Confidence is limitless in our journey, but should never become the obsessed by it, this will form conceit. Nobody likes to hear that or be with one who is conceited. The world needs more team work, and together is better and the ideas to create successful projects becomes limitless.

Classrooms and teaching are different today. Character in people is different today. None the less, it’s important to share lessons with our children so that they are aware of the resources and tools available to them for most anything. They are limitless. Our children are limitless. Their potential is limitless. Build their confidence, their esteem, their dreams. The Sky is the limit!

Our character Self-Esteem Elephant teaches confidence to our children, and when a child believes that they can accomplish the unthinkable, they become limitless in their potential to achieve success. I’m not going to get into what you call success as that varies for all of us. I know that for me success is making a difference in the life of a child and that their are no limits to this! I’ll achieve this through literacy, video’s, conversations, art class and more so that a children internalize the meaning of our character messages. The page below is from our Building Confidence Activity Book on Amazon. Talk with your children about being limitless. Color it yourself and hang it on the fridge to remind you, YOU ARE LIMITLESS!
