Mindful Monday-Trick-or-Treat

Such a fun day for kids of all ages as the little ones dress in costumes! Imagination is always highlighted this day as kids put on their costume, design their attire and can’t wait to go out for others to admire! You’ll see ghosts and goblins and scary monsters, too! Underneath it all is are kids trying to scare you! Don’t let them scare you or turn you away, cause today for so many is a favorite holiday!

Yesterday we participated in a vendor event and children dressed and visited our booths. I just loved how creative so many families are and not one child took to much from the candy jar! Their manners were polite and their smiles a glow as they Trick-or-Treated at the vendor show! Impressed I was as they all said, “Thank you” while we handed out their treat, and there was not one child who said, “smell my feet”

Today we share with you Halloween coloring pages of each of the Characters of Character to continue to remind kids today, that good character is something to share every day! Use your good manners, be respectful, too and may this Halloween be a fun day for you!

Ways to use the character coloring pages:

  • Print them out and discuss what the trait is that each character represents

  • Use as a sticker chart

  • Use as a journal cover

  • Use these on a word wall

    Happy Halloween!
