Respect Yourself and Others

That’s me, Respectful Rabbit! I am one of the nine Characters of Character helping to build a firm foundation for children to establish strong civic values. How are you teaching your child to be respectful? Remember, you are their role model. They are listening to what you say, watching how you treat others. Watching how you treat yourself. Be a role model for your child and encourage them to be respectful of who they are and of others. Print out a certificate of achievement show below. Discuss with your child what it means to be respectful. Discuss with your child the importance of being respectful of themself and of others. We all deserve to be treated with respect. Respect your parents, community members which are teachers, Law Enforcement, the Fire Department, our grocery workers, farmers, janitors, truck drivers, etc. Each and every one of us deserve to be respected. Not one of us is any better than anybody else. Let’s remember that and we can all work together to make this world a little kinder, a little more respected and a lot more good character.
